Bible Track

Welcome to the Bible Track in our School of Discipleship. Our purpose is to develop a deeper understanding of our Lord, His ministry and His church as we apply ourselves to the discipline of verse by verse Scripture study.

Our first course is The Gospel of Matthew.  We will carefully examine each verse of this Gospel, beginning with the birth of Jesus and concluding with His resurrection and commission to His disciples.

Our second class, The Epistle to the Ephesians, provides a verse by verse exposition of Paul’s foundational directions to the church.

Our third class, The Revelation, provides a verse by verse discussion of Jesus’ messages to the seven churches followed by an examination of the unveiling of the concluding events of human history.

In our fourth class we will look at the Old Testament book of Nehemiah which not only records the rebuilding of the city of Jerusalem but also reveals the way the Holy Spirit rebuilds a redeemed human personality.

Our goal in this track, as with all the School of Discipleship, is not merely to learn about our salvation, though that in itself is of great value. More than that, we desire to grow in the grace and knowledge and likeness of our Savior. As we focus our hearts and minds on Jesus, He progressively conforms us to His heart and mind. This is, after all, the goal of discipleship — to become like our Lord.
